Is Chaturbate safe for users?

I got a very interesting question about security on Chaturbate for us while looking at some cam model.

I've researched Chaturbate a bit and it seems pretty cool. I know they use advanced methods to verify a girl's age and it seems like the Jumio method does verification for serious companies like big market players etc. I've read all about protecting accounts, payment data and how the models are protected - it all sounds great.

But my concern is: what about the average guy like me who just logs on to the site to relax and watch cam shows? What if somehow an underage model can bypass the process (hide her real age) and get on camera in front of dozens of people?

Has that ever happened? How is it handled? Are there no problems for Chaturbate users after such an incident?

I'm very worried because I've heard different stories - when they break down the door and confiscate all the computer equipment in the house for investigation. Is that a myth?

See also..... I once registered on Chaturbate as a male model and it does require verification with documents. Verification is really real. But I've heard stories that some models can be vetted in studios but go on live shows with other models, so if that happens, there's a button to complain about the model. She will be vetted and if she broke the rules, of course she will be banned permanently. It's all serious.

I only know of one case where a room with underage broadcasters got busted. They were live on cam when the local police stormed in, cuffed them, and they were never seen again. That was about 4-5 years ago. That said, accidentally coming across an underage person on cam is a whole different thing than actively searching for it or promoting it. While sex trafficking does exist, and minors are often victims, it's not as widespread as anti-porn activists would have you believe.
